We believe that in the future, investors won’t pick stocks - they’ll pick strategies.
Join the Composer team as we usher in the future of investing.
Composer allows retail investors to create their own strategies with the power of AI - and publish them directly in Composer’s community. Users can then remix, collaborate and share investing strategies with each other.
We seek to empower the creativity and ingenuity of everyday retail investors by giving them the tooling normally reserved for hedge funds and exclusive Wall St institutions.
The role
We’re seeking to hire our very first product marketing manager. A player-coach role, you will lead a team of specialists while also directly creating content where it’s needed - whether for product marketing, socials, or ad campaigns. You are the connective tissue between copywriters, designers, campaign managers and content creators. By leveraging the strengths of specialists and leading by the example of your own efforts, you will deliver results that are greater than the sum of parts. Reporting to the CEO, this is a role with limitless upside potential, as we seek to promote promising candidates from within.
What the role is like:
- Deeply understand who ideal Composer customers are and what content they will be attracted to and are likely to share with others
- Lead regular marketing roadmap reviews, ensuring optimal prioritization and timely delivery of the roadmap
- Roll up your sleeves and create videos, write SEO content or meme on socials - whatever gets the job done
- Coordinate with both internal and external specialists across geographies and time zones to make sure everyone is rowing in the same direction
- Leverage systems thinking to create coherent marketing campaigns across multiple channels and mediums.
- Outcomes over outputs: you will make sure marketing projects are actually moving the needle on business objectives through rigorous and brutally honest analysis
- Bold experimentation – take risks in what you make and quickly learn from these experiments, iterate to improve performance
- Constraints fuel your creativity – you’ll be working in a regulated field, understand and creatively work around constraints imposed by regulations
What you’re like:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both synchronous and asynchronous. You’re comfortable leading a meeting, crafting an email or writing a blog post.
- A facilitative leader. You coax the best out of people and elicit ideas from them, rather than top down direction alone.
- Highly organized and laser like focus. You know that ideas are worth little if they aren’t executed.
- Ambitious and hungry. You want to level up faster in your career than what would be possible in a large company.
